Jungle Fury with Geki Power!!

With the Power Rangers Samurai no airing on local tele and overwhelming abundancy of toys from the series, some local toy shops are also selling Jungle Fury Megazords are great sale prices.

Recently, I've gotten these.

Jungle Master Megazord or Geki fire which was sold at $40 SGD at Chinasquare Central.

And if you think that was a good price, not too long ago, Jungle Pride Megazord here was SGD$23.00 (YES, $23 SGD) at OG departamental stores islandwide.
And to round it off, some Jap Geki Ranger Zords which are shockingly compatible with the US counterparts.

One of my faves, Geki-wolf.

Geki-Shark, I'm quite keen on Geki-bat and maybe just maybe, I may complete the line.

Another Sundays haul

Another trip to the toyshops and here's what I got, by the way, all are really good deals to me I think, well, first up to satisfy my transformer urges, I've gotten 3 figures, and finally completing the characters from animated line and eagerly awaiting the Transformers Prime line, here's it is.

Leader class Megatron

Voyager Class Bulkhead

And I also picked up a Cybertron Excellion from my friend Nelson, kinda love the mold after comtemplating to get all the molds, I finally decided to, besides Excellion was just in a unresistable price that I just got to have it.

And last but not least, I also have a thing for Power ranger Megazords. Bandai recently or sorry, not so recently released a Joint Gattai series of Megazords, gimmicks involves interchangable parts and somewhat transformable 7 inch Mechas,  the one that really drew my eye was Zyuranger's Daizyujin or Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers Megazord.
I grew up with the series so its only natural to have gotten it.
Retail price was $39.90 though no special sale price on it but I gotten it anyways. Yup, thats the Sundays haul. Have a nice SUN-day, though I think its gonna rain anytime now, but well, I got my goodies so I can chill with them anyways...cheerios

The other Galactabeast

After a long day at work, there's nothing better than going home to a nice mecha to transform and oogle at....yep, I went to hunt for more robots and I found this laying around some toyshop.
Though I've seen the Power Rangers Lost Galaxy series, never had any of the mechas actually really attracted me except the dead and revived Galactabeast unleashed from the gigantic (but not so big in toy form) Zenith carrier Zord. The Stratoforce Megazord or Giga Phoenix and Centaurus Megazord or Giga Rhinos, as the name suggests they harness the powers from a blue phoenix and a red Rhino.

First up is Centaurus Megazord, consisting of 5 C-zords which were all land vehicles.

DSC04488 The transformation from vehicles is much similar to that of Voltes V or Combattler minus all the details. Sentai toys are usually much simplified compare to most Modern aged Gokins.

S.P.D

spd_logo
Yup, as my quest for more sentai/power ranger robots continues, here's Super Dekaranger Robo or Omega Max Megazord from Tokusou Sentai Dekarangers or Power Rangers SPD, never knew it was such a simple yet, unique robot, transformation is slick and easy but yet mantains the classic sentai feel.

And alot of you guys already got this guy and recommended to me, though I collect Chogokins, this here robot is not a bad buy, yes, articulation is minimal, play value is high and the sight of it on the display shelf is awesome. With a nice tokusatsu series to go along, this is a real sweet robo!!! Here are the pics...

Operation Overdrived

Overdrive Accelerate!!! Power Rangers Operation Overdrive, the fifteenth season of Power Rangers series.
It is based on the 2006 Japanese Super Sentai series, GoGo Sentai Boukenger. Power Rangers Operation Overdrive celebrates the anniversary of 15 years of Power Rangers, while Boukenger celebrated 30 years of Sentai in Japan. Here's a BOA (Bandai of America) Drive Max sets, I picked at OG a few weeks back with the price slashed, this is a real cheap deal.....sweet!!! Here we go....
The zords are vehicles called Drivemax zords.....

Bandai America released 3 sets total; Drive Max Megazord, Dual Drive Megazord (which came with a Black Dump driver) and Dual Drive Megazord 2 (which included Sonic Streaker). Yup its kinda sucky, to have a nice correct set, you have to get all 3 sets.

And now my 2 cents, its sucks how Bandai USA did it, I kinda dig the larger size but the head for the Super Drive is available in another set....You have to get extra of a few stuff just to get a HEAD!? oh bummer...damn RIP off.... No wonder its on sale at a quarter of the retail price.....I can give you 20 reasons to get the Japan Version, but theres only 1 reason to get this set and thats the dirt cheap price of cos!

Well, I guess I have really make my set good by getting another dual drive megazord, To Bandai USA, you guys really suck, as Im a collector and a working adult, paying for my toys is really not a bother but imagine the kids. How could any of you guys (Bandai America staff ) actually sleep at night knowing that you guys, con small kids with your crappy renditions of our fave heros.....

3 boxes of Megazord all retailing at fricking $119.90 SGD EACH(thats equalivent to $359.70 SGD), Thats minus Battlefleet aka Daivoyager at a whopping $179.90 SGD.... All I can say without the sale price, these megazords would have been stuck on the shelves for all eternity, besides the disappointments, this set can only be recommended if you're suffering from terminal boredom or intoxicated by alchohol....for the love of god and Sentai, Please go for the Japanese ones....
