Here's Bandais Soul of chogokin GX-23 Zambot 3, its a die-cast robot equipped with variant modes and accessories, the cresent moon design on the forehead has a very samurai look to it and I love the way it transforms. Though the original yen price was 18 390 yen, I got mine at a sale at suntec city not as hefty as it was first released
Heres some scans from the intruction booklet it came with.
The centre fold.
Zambot 3 is derived from the Zambot Combination sequence in which Zambird, Zambull and Zambase join together to form one invincible robot. These individual vehicles were built by the survivors of a race indigenous to the planet called Beal, having relocated to Earth, the survivors, the Jin Family, hope to defend themselves and the Earth against the shadowy Gaizok.
Zambull
Zambase
Zambird is the best piece of all, transforming into a fighter jet and into a robo too. This chogokin version also had guns which combine to form a bigger gun for Zambird.
The cockpits on the feet open to reveal the pilots
Zambot 3 is armed with a number of weapons such as the Arm Punch, the Zambot Grap, the Buster Missile and the Zambot Missile, all of which are engineered to counter the savage wiles of Gaizokâs Mech .
There are more weapons not pictured, staff and sword, I love the sais the most. The sais blade has to be removed and replaced with a longer blade to become the sword.
Zambot suffers from the leaning syndrome where the weight of the diecast of the upper body is to heavy thus leaning forward. Maybe if the ankle joints were spring clicked maybe it won't lean but nontheless this is a one good chogokin...
It’s actually a cool and helpful piece of information. Please keep us informed like this. Thanks for sharing.I am extremely happy to seen it and wanna a copy of this.Although I have some toys that I collected from PIJ I’m excited in great extent! http://bit.ly/zanbot3
