Berserk mode

From the 2005, Gaiking: Legend of Daiku-Maryu animation series, the berserk Gaiking Face Open version comes to you from the Kaiyodo's Revoltech series, though not a new release,  this guy is on sale!!!
With no diecast usuallys not my cup of tea but wat the hell, this guy's is just hours of posing fun. ok enuff talk, let's let the pictures do the talking...

Loaded with Revoltech joints ( or revolving ball-joints) for a wide range of posing possibilities, this nicely detailed action figure boasts 35 points of articulation and comes with two Counter Crosses, a Hydro Blazer energy ball, six optional hands and a display stand for the aerial poses....yap, enuff said, more pictures...

Though he looks much smaller in box, he stands five and half inches tall, and without the stand, Gaiking has a standing problem, its quite difficult to allign the legs to the straight pose for standing straight, ah hell, thank god for the stand.

The colours a nice dark shade of light black, thats one of the main reasons I gotten this guy and the price of course.....

Revoltech #018 Giant Robo

Went searching for Giant Robo toys from the 1998 OVA. Though Im not a big fan of the retro version, this one rocked, after watching Giant Robo "The day earth stood still", I really gotta have one too, I do want to catch the series also but went through all the video stores here but to no avail.

As for the figure, I so wanted the Yamato missile version, sad thing is, there isnt any available here, that's the price for being a tad to slow....well, I gotten the second best one around, the revoltech version.

Though abit small for me especially for the head sculpt ( I really dig the Eygptianish pharoah design). Price is also one of the prime features cos revols only cost $20-25 Sgd here and to add the good news to greater news, playability and poseabilty is astonishing, Giant Robo is number 18 in the series.

Though it comes with no stand, GR has an extra pair of open fists and reversable parts that show where all the missiles launch. Though the centre chest doesn't open to reveal more missiles, reversable parts is one real cool idea.

The bazooka doesn't transform from his booster pack but came with GR2 as an replacement attachment for his booster pack. Man, how I did wish that the booster pack could transform......Im still considering to get GR2 though.

Quite a sturdy figure and the articulation is great!!! If you love Tetsujin, you're gonna love Giant Robo!!!
