lucky find!

Found a red bullmark Gomora from a fellow collector which so happened to have an extra.
B-clubs reissue of the classic Hawaii colors Bullmark mold. Being one of my favorite Ultra-kaijus, just gotta have another of him.

Standard size which is 9 inches which is my preferred sizing for my vinyls.
Molded in red and painted with some metallic blue highlights and light green.

On the shelf with the bullmark Brown version, the head looks to be looking upwards more for the red version.

Playtoys 50th Anniversary 10" Ultraman

Finally got a Ultraman worthy of my monsters, 25 cm of vinyl goodness.
Released February 2016 by Playtoy HK and comes with superb window box.

After removing from the box, Ultraman came packed with a beautiful insert, resembling some city he's gonna do battle with some kaiju.

Besides the impressive size, this ultraman came with a removeable mask much similar to the vintage bullmark.

The other accessory it came with the henshin device, the beta capsule!

Here's how the Playtoy Ultraman looks with my monsters.

Yamanaya Bat Seijin

Another Sunday has passed and I finally found another Yamanaya figure. Luckily not a pricey one but still nice piece of vinyl.

From the return of Ultraman aka Ultraman Jack, here's the alien who sought to destroy mankind with his resurrected zetton, Bat seijin.

A 2001 released figure with 2 color variations, I'm satisfied with this orangey version. The other variation is more of a darker shade and molded in brownish purple vinyl which is slightly more accurate to the show.

Here's how Bat Seijin looks in the show.

Yamanaya figures all came with the same generic blue header card with illustration of some fantasy monsters.

Stands roughly 9" tall with 4 points of articulation, the arms and swivels at the thighs.
Sculpt work is definitly good and the paintjob is excellent.

Definitely hunting down more Ultraman Jack monsters, hope you guys enjoy my collection so far!

With the 24 hrs delivery, I guess people living in SG will be fatter, just imagine having cheeseburgers, fries and applepie before you sleep.....Pigs....thats what we've become.....cool, im loving it....and worse news, the delivery charges has gone up by 30 cents....well, im not complaining....
Ok, enuff bullshit, look what Ive got not so recently, a standard size ( 9 inches) Bullmark Goldon.
Whats a Goldon u ask?
Heres a brief description....
Appeared in "ULTRAMAN: CHALLENGE TO THE UNDERGROUND" (1967)A Gold -eating monster, Goldon, that lurks around a local mining cave . It was detected as a Moving gold mine which attracted alot greedy miners. Unknown to them it was a Giant Monster.
Looks somewhat like a long neck  Dinosaur, Goldon can travel underground at speeds of up to 150 miles per hour, in the episode, there was 2 Goldons one destroyed by the Space patrol team, the other by Ultraman.

Doesnt it look like a croissant? Yummy.....
DSC03219 Yeap, its an Ultraman monster, besides robots and superheroes, im also obsessed with monsters from Ultraman.

Yamanaya Hyperhobby Cyber-Pandon

One of my fave monsters from another Ultraman series ( I think im gonna use this line very often)
Appearing from Ultraseven series Episodes #48 & #49..
The twin headed bird monster named Pandon パンドン.

A hyperhobby magazine mailaway, made by Yamanaya KaijuBox, this standard sized 9" Cyber Pandon holds the eye slugger on his right hand.
Yamanaya also released a Normal Pandon and a Ultraseven without the eyeslugger attached.

DSC03359 DSC03360 Controlled by the evil Ghost Seijins, the monster stands around 40 Meters tall and weighing around 15,000 Tons.
Design was kinda lingering in my mind, 2 beaks, 1 head
and lotsa horns to boot ( yep insert your horny jokes here )
In the episode, Pandon was a powerful opponent giving
Ultraseven a tough time. One of the few monster who disarmed Ultrasevens Eye Slugger from him.
The TDF squad used their planes and distracted Pandon,
allowing the Ultraseven to retrieve the Eye Slugger and use his boomerang attack
slicing off Pandon's left arm and right leg.

DSC03361 DSC03362
In episode #49, the Ghost Seijins repaired and modified Pandon and deployed him once again.
The result was much the same, Pandon pummeling Ultraseven until TDF once again came to his aid.

DSC03367 DSC03370
Ultraseven tried his Eye Slugger again but Pandon managed to catch it and tried to use it against him
Ultraseven however controlled the eye slugger back to send it back and simultaneously decapitate Pandon's head, killing him and yes, sometimes 2 heads is not better than 1...lol...

Marmit Monster Heaven Seabozu

Recently I was searching on Ebay for more Ultraman monsters and look what I found. Its one them that I wanted. So I buy my time waiting and watching.... the auction, till it was time.... I won it and it cost me $49 USD for a Marmit 2004 reissue of a 1966 monster.  It was a very happy day for me. Today it finally arrived....Whooo
Before i got it, I saw one at Clarke Quay, which was abit over priced at $170 Sgd. Honestly, I would have shelled out that amount money for it but I guess, I didnt recall that much info on it at that moment.
When I was home I checked out its background and story of the monster. When I was small, i remebered i used a marker or liquid paper to make boney markings onto a lame dinosaur figurine to make myself a Seabozu. Actual colors were white and black, with the white parts supposedly Bone structure, the toy which was the vintage colors, is a silverished blue with gold horns....

Seabozu, that was the name, it doesnt live in the sea though like its named suggested, here's a brief info and pics of the monster:

It was said that Ultraman killed dozens of monsters, rumored that some of  the spirits lingered, a mad priest then gathered all the spirits: Gamora, Baltan, Kemular, to name a few.... and made SEABOZU to revenge thier deaths. This was quite a interesting episode ( Go check The 60s Ultraman shows...  )

...It was suppose to be a hollow boney monster with no eyes, an avenging spirit, Seabozu was a very cool monster, not the usual stomping and destroying of cities, it has a goal, to destroy Ultraman and what it stood for.... this is one cool monster and my lastest addition to my collection.......the hunt is still on......

Bclub Bullmark Vakishimu

I just love Ultraman Ace's monsters, love the designs, heres one of them, good ol' Vakishim is another super beast created by the Alien Yapool. Vakishim's powers include organic missiles, a horn missle, and a fire stream from its mouth.
Vakishim first appeared in the 3rd episode of Ultraman Ace series, the monster appeared at the base of Mt. Fuji.
Vakishim was a force to be reckon with even for the TAC team, until Ace appeared and used his Ace Slash to cut its head off.

Pictured is a Standard sized 9" bullmark reissue of Vakishim.

Slightly resembles Daiku Maryu in some ways, oh well, Im a fan of both of em.....

Marusan GRAND KING

The Ultraman Story (ウルトラマン物語 ) is a 1984 Japanese tokusatsu kaiju movie directed by Koichi Takano and produced by Tsuburaya Productions. Just like most Ultra shows in the 80s, monsters had always played a big part in shows for me.
Here's one of my faves, the one and only
GRAND KING
Produced by MARUSAN and offered as an 2004 internet exclusive for the fans, this the closest to the 9 inch vinyl glory you get for this Kaiju.

Quite a nice mold, true to the actual monster from the movie in alot ways, though not much articulations ( head, arms and legs), Grand King makes up for size and details, theres small burn marks all over this body, just make it look old and metal-like.
The price is quite hefty price ( $170 usd ) for this piece but to fans its well worth it, Bandai could have done a Chogokin of this, similar to the 1975 Mecha Godzilla. Oh well, we just have to settle for Marusan.

They also released a clear phasing pink and clear version. Both were available through KaijuTaro.

The Light monster...

Another one of those obscure monster from the classic Ultraman series, Keera or Kira or Kiira or Kirla from Episode #38 The Spaceship Rescue Command ( 宇宙船救助命令 ) .
Pictured here is a Yamanaya KaijuBox Keera ( Black Version ), standard 9" tall and made of vinyl.

Brief info of the episode, the Science Patrol takes to the stars and learns that a missing piece of equipment could cause Space Station V2 to explode. After determining that the closest replacement is on a nearby planet, the Science Patrol makes an attempt to retrieve it..only to encounter a pair of ferocious monsters in their path. Keera and Saigo...
