Neca Burning Godzilla

Neca's rendition of the king of monsters, Godzilla as he appeared against Destroyah.

Neca's Godilla figures boast some nice sculpt work true to show and adding more articulation with ball jointed neck, waist, knees and muilti jointed tail. Swiveled hips, arms, elbows and a moveable jaw.

I can say I feel a tad of heft to the figure, made with solid pvc, the weight is satisfying.

As for the paint department, the head, fore arms, feet and tip of the tail is molded in regular black plastic.
The body however is molded in orange and painted black, the effect is quite similar to what bandai did awhile back.

The rest of the details like the eyes and teeth are painted in good quality.

Should you get this figure? From the price range and quality of the figure, I would definitely say recommend it, if you feel that the prices for SH monster arts is too high, the Neca route should be an easy alternative if they ever plan to release more monsters.

Iwakura Soul of Bullmark Godzilla

Iwakura Godzilla Soul of Bullmark set was released in 2004. Figures were miniture replicas of the original vintage Bullmark sculpt, and stands about 3.5 inches tall each. Each figure are sold much like gashapons, meaning, randomly packed into sealed blind boxes so we have no idea which character we will be getting, to me, it kinda sucked but the good news is the possibility of getting the chase figure.
Godzilla

Megalon, my personal favorite next to Mecha goji.

Mechagodzilla

Mogera

Gorosaurus

Daimajin (not from the set but looked cool all together)

Jet Jaguar, mine always tilts to one side,  not sure if anyone else's Jaguar is the same or is it just mine.

Not pictured is King Ghidorah, Baragon, Ebirah, Varan, the chase figure is a red Megalon, which im still trying to hunt down. There was also a mini glow version of Godzilla, released with the HyperHobby magazine. Besides, Godzilla characters, Bandai also released Bullmark minis, I'll post mine up when I take pictures of them but for right now, the cameras having some technical problems. There will definitely be more updates on more toys. Stay tuned for more....

Cheers

As I picked this Godzilla up from my neighbourhood convinient store, Cheers. 2004 released Bandai Monster Solid collection. I  was quite astonished that older series of figures keep reappearing in the most unlikely places, the even better news, I get to choose the figure I wanted to purchase, cos this Monster Solid figures always comes in sets.
DSC05330  Set also included Gigan, Ebirah, King Seasar, 2 versions of Godzilla and Hedorah, all from the Final wars movie. For me now that I have the choice, I took the powered up Goji with the tranlucent spikes.
DSC05323
Though the figure boost zero articulation, the figure came with a real dynamic pose which makes up for it, the back dorsal fins has to be cut up and attached to the back, much like Gundam model kits, the intructions on where to place the fins are on the insides of the box.
DSC05324 DSC05326
It came with a clear stand that attached to the right foot, the figure stands well, without it too.

The fins was the best part of figure, there's also a normal white finned version too. Yep thats christmas eves surprise, Have a merry Christmas everybody!!! Godzillas always good on xmas!!

One of the nicest sculpts in the series, measuring 9.5 inches tall and 9 inches long from head to tall.

Marmit Kaiju Tengoku series released a number of monsters with very nice molds rivaling Bullmarks or Yamanaya. Lookout for more from the series.

Mecha GOJI!

What happens when you have love for robots and love for Godzilla.....A robotic Godzilla or famously known as Mecha Godzilla...Mecha godzilla is a giant robot made by the Simians to battle Godzilla. Made out of Space Titanium and armed with various arsenal of weapons. My fave are the missile fingers...

Pictured here is a Marmit Kaiju heaven Mecha Godzilla 74. Though its standard sized, Mecha Goji is slightly higher then 9 inches. There was a release of a Hyper Hobby magazine exclusive with the same mold but had some blue highlights on the chest.

Just like any other  vinyls, minimal articulation but nice sight to behold......

Goji!!!

One of my all time fave Monster flicks, 1991's Godzilla Vs King Ghidorah, not just because the film features our beloved King of monsters Godzilla, its also had King Ghidorah, the 3 headed Golden Dragon, considered one of Godzilla's greatest rival.
Here's 2 Bandai vinyl figures I had when I was much younger.
First up is King Ghidorah, the 3 headed Dragon, ever since playing Dragon Spirits on micro genius in secondary school, I always had a thing for 3 headed dragons.

Stamped 1984 Japan on the feet, I love this Ghidorah the most, hard vinyl and nice head sculpts. The poseabilty is limited, wings, legs and necks on all 3 heads.

Next up is Godzilla, though not the Ghidorah version, pictured is the Mothra Version....
Though the poseabilty is lacking, arms, legs and tail, the sculpting is rather good.
Though not the hard type of vinyl, this is one of the Godzilla that still attracted me.
Godzilla defeated King Ghidorah, severing King Ghidorah's middle head and finishing with his atomic breath....
