S.I.C customs Part 2

Yeap, more superb customizing from Mr Henry aka hwong40k once again.
Check these pics out.

Straight out of the Hibiki Movie, here's a SIC Masked Rider Hibiki Warring State 7 Sword version (using a regular hibiki body, recoloured and retooled with parts from a certain Spawn figure)

SIC Masked Rider Leo-Taiga Survive mode (using a SIC Masked Rider Taiga body) pictured with Taiga for comparison.

Stay tuned for more cool customizations.....

Power Rangers Samurai 12" Shogun Battlized Ranger

Guess what I've got, an early Birthday present from one of my best pals. From the Power rangers Samurai line, the 12 inch Shogun Battlized Red Ranger.
The new waves of Power Ranger Samurai figures will be arriving quite soon which includes a
4 inch scale of the Red Shogun Ranger, so for collectors who isn't into 12 inch figures, this figure may not interest you.

All current re-releases of this figures features a removeable helmet to reveal Jayden, personally, I prefer the first released ones which had the non removeable masks.

The figures doesn't have the best articulation comparing to ShFiguarts or Project BM figures but it has it where it counts, the scupting is not too bad too.

The only thing that I dislike about this figure is the weapon it came with, the samuraizer is not in scale to figure. Slightly oversized for my taste. And the lack of Bullzooka, kinda wished it had a super combined weapon for the shogun mode too.

Besides the minor downside, the armor that it came with makes this a real cool figure to have in your collection if you dig Samurai-ish Shogun warriors. Looks nice with all the megazords too.

Overall another cool figure from the Power Rangers Samurai line.

Power Rangers Samurai Shark zord

Even due to a busy work schedule, I manage to get a Samurai shark zord from the Power Rangers Samurai deluxe zord line. Arriving early of July though American release was months before, I was still excited to finally see this zord released in all major deparmental stores here.
Certainly not worth the $32.95 SGD retail price but with the 20% discount, definitely a much better deal. As for the actual toy itself, shark zord was also the equalivent of the Japanese  Shinkenger's counterpart Kyoryu Origami. The original version was a dinosaur, with added fins and a tail, the US adaptation made it a shark.

The fins are removeable for a more show accurate appearance or the fins can be held with any
4 inch figure from the line.

Sharkzord is compatible with Beetle zord and swordfish zord to form the Samurai Shark wing.

The Samurai Sharkzord is also compatible with the Samurai Megazord to form another configuration called the Samurai Shark Megazord.

Sharkzord as a sword weapon  could be held by any of the Megazords from the line. The sharkzord alone isn't worth getting but if you have Samurai Megazord or any of the other zords, sharkzord adds more playability and display options and it looks awesome with Samurai Gigazord too!

Mastermind Creation's Upcoming Hexatron

One of the most long awaited Transformers Generation 1 characters to re-released in plastic glory, the six changer Six-shot or now known as Terminus Hexatron by  the 3rd party company which gave us the Knight Morpher, Mastermind Creations.
Revamped but retaining the G1 aesthatics of the classic character, rumored to be approximately Transformers Movie leader sized figure. The 6 transformations truefully faithful to the original, only difference with the beast mode, not being a flying puma, this incarnation resembles a cyber wolf.

Besides the classic Decepticon, Mastermind creations is also releasing a recolour redecoed Great Shot.
Though the bad news is the retail price would be around $200 USD but the fans of the Generation 1 characters, this should be a must have.

More Ranger sale Part 2

In the morning, I went on to continue searching for the Power Ranger Samurai Sale figures.
Most department stores, don't have a full set of the Samurai rangers, mainly due to the uneven case assortment. Rita Repulsa is all over the place. I picked up a Mega Ranger and Super Samurai Red Ranger.
Only Toys'R'us, carries the later waves of the 4 inch figure line and Bull Megazord, the bad news, Toys'R'us are still selling them at the inflated price. The 4 inch figures are $14.95 Sgd each and the Bull Megazord $69.95 Sgd each.

Still no signs of the shark zord and Hydro bow though the Spin cycles are all over the place, most likely the spin cycles will be on clearance soon....

Power Rangers Samurai Octozord

Here we have the Mega Ranger's Octozord, just like the other auxiliary zords, Octozord was on sale, though Octozord was not a octopus but more of a squid, Octozord was a much cooler name then Squidzord.

Much similar to the others in the line, Octozord came with pegs for the Rangers to ride on. Paint details are not too bad, the only gimmick the Octozord had was the spinning tentacles when you roll it along, besides the gimmick, Octozord is compatible with both Clawzord and Samurai Megazord.
Samurai Octo Clawzord and Samurai Octo spear Megazord

And with all the auxiliary zords, they all combine to form the Samurai Battle cannon.

Overall, the Octozord is a good toy, just with a few minor flaws. Compatibility with the Samurai Megazord, Samurai Clawzord or the other auxiliary zords, makes this a real winner. Lotsa play value and with the sale, Octozord is definitely value for your money.
