Gogo Sentai Super Daibouken

The auxilary zords are in, in continuation with the Gogo Sentai megazord series, here's the 4 vehicles to form Super Daibouken.
The vehicles comes in small windowed box with numbers on the top corner. The back of the boxes features the compatility with Daibouken.

#04 Gogo Drill

#05 Gogo Shovel

#06 Gogo Mixer

#07 Gogo Crane

With the four auxilary zords, Daibouken can use any of them to form arms for quite a number of combos.

Now is time to form Super Daibouken. Drill and shovel become new arms, mixer and crane became new feet while the crane's hook forms a new head piece.

My fave of all the formation, the drill arm and shovel really looks wierd but cool and legs articulation isn't hindered by the new additions. This is neat combo for a megazord much similar to Brave Series Transformer combinations. There was also TRU Japan boxed set for Super Daibouken.
Next Up Gogo Jet....

Gogo Sentai Daibouken

After the major disappointment of the Drivemax Megazord and Dual drive Megazord released last year for the Power Rangers Operation Overdrive, finally decided to get the Japan version of Gogo sentai Daibouken.
As the hype has been long gone, got this set a real good price. The basic megazord Daibouken, the auxilary zords and Gogo jet.
First up the box.
The box is plain with pictures of the toy all over the place.
Toys are house in a hard cardboard tray and wrapped in plastic.
More pictures of the toy on the back, showing individual zords and other formations.

Now on the toy itself, smaller then most regular Megazord, no diecast parts, excellent details on the individual zord with lotsa chromed parts.
#01 Gogo Dump, driven by Bouken Red, forms the main body, head and legs of Daibouken.

#02 Gogo Formula, driven by the Bouken Black, forms the chest of Daibouken.

#03 Gogo Gyro, driven by the Bouken Blue, forms the back of Daibouken.

#04 Gogo Dozer, driven by the Bouken Yellow, forms the left arm of Daibouken.

#05 Gogo Marine Diver, driven by Bouken pink, forms the right arm of Daibouken.

Besides the regular formation, the bouken vehicles can form Gogo trailer.

And of course, they all form Daibouken...

Not a bad set compared to the US released which really puts the Power rangers Overdrive version to shame, my only complaint is the size is very much smaller then regular megazords but for this level of detail and chrome, this is a excellent representation.

Tensou Sentai Gosei Machines 1

Here's another sentai series with another big mecha. Since 2010, Tensou Sentai Goseigers is one of the few Sentai series that we have yet to get a Bandai America treatment. Though I didn't really catch all the episodes, I managed to recently acquired a Japanese Gosei machines set at a bargain price.

First up is the first main mecha, Gosei Great.

The Gosei Headers are used to summon the Gosei machines,  when the headers attached themselves to various vehicles to become Gosei machines.
Gosei Great comprises of 5 mechas which combine to form one robot.

Gosei Dragon header combines with a airliner to form Gosei Dragon which is control by Gosei Red.

Gosei Blue's header combines with a submarine to become Gosei Shark.

Gosei Pink's header combines with a fighter jet to become Gosei Phoenix.

Combining with a bulldozer, Gosei Yellow's header becomes Gosei Tiger.

Gosei Black's header merges with a Bullet train to become Gosei snake.

                                             "TENSOU GATTAI GOSEI GREAT-TO!!"

Not a bad robot mode, nicely porpotioned and like most sentai robos, articulation is limited. Gosei Great only has arm articulation and the tail and neck of Gosei Dragon form the Dragon sword.

Another Sundays haul

Another trip to the toyshops and here's what I got, by the way, all are really good deals to me I think, well, first up to satisfy my transformer urges, I've gotten 3 figures, and finally completing the characters from animated line and eagerly awaiting the Transformers Prime line, here's it is.

Leader class Megatron

Voyager Class Bulkhead

And I also picked up a Cybertron Excellion from my friend Nelson, kinda love the mold after comtemplating to get all the molds, I finally decided to, besides Excellion was just in a unresistable price that I just got to have it.

And last but not least, I also have a thing for Power ranger Megazords. Bandai recently or sorry, not so recently released a Joint Gattai series of Megazords, gimmicks involves interchangable parts and somewhat transformable 7 inch Mechas,  the one that really drew my eye was Zyuranger's Daizyujin or Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers Megazord.
I grew up with the series so its only natural to have gotten it.
Retail price was $39.90 though no special sale price on it but I gotten it anyways. Yup, thats the Sundays haul. Have a nice SUN-day, though I think its gonna rain anytime now, but well, I got my goodies so I can chill with them anyways...cheerios

G12

data-top-goon
From 2008's Engine Sentai Go Ongers, here's the mechs from the series. Not the deluxe versions, the candy toy versions are more poseable, downside is their size and the crappy stickers that came along. Painting them like model kits may get you damn real cool mechs.
First up, Engine oh which comprises of Speedor (Red ranger), Bus-on (Blue Ranger) and Bearu (Yellow Ranger).

G9 Formation!!! Engine Gattai!!And all of them can also merge to form a Super robot Engine-Oh G9

This is not a bad set, while the single Robot forms has much more poseability, the fully combined form still has a little articulation mainly the arms.

Even though this is not the final combined robot, there's still Kyoretsu-oh which is able to combine with Engine-Oh G9 to become G12DSC04944
The final team of engines are the prehistoric Train Engines driven by the Red Ranger, Kishamoth,
